Tucson Youth Week (April 25 - May 1, 2009) is a series of events intended to recognize and celebrate the significant impact that youth have on Tucson, including the everyday contributions made to families, schools, and community. Events include ARTivism, an exhibit of youth activist art at the Rocket Gallery, National & Global Youth Service Day, Tucson's largest single-day of youth volunteerism, and the Community Youth Recognition Event at Himmel Park, where an estimated 5,000 youth will be recognized.
