2007 Youth Voice Grant Round Every Voice in Action Foundation™ announces the release of our 2007 Youth Voice Request for Proposals (RFP).
Through this grant round, Every Voice in Action will offer support to programs in Tucson/Pima County that further our vision of having the skills, opportunities and support necessary for authentic voice readily available to all young people. In particular, Every Voice in Action is interested in supporting Youth as Resources, Youth Activism and Youth Media programs (please read the RFP for more details about the funding focus).
A total of $85,000 will be awarded through this grant round, with each applicant organization able to request up to $20,000. Most awards will likely be in the range of $10,000 - $20,000; however, we welcome smaller requests (e.g., less than $10,000) as well. We also encourage new and/or small Youth Voice efforts to apply, in addition to well-established programs.
Proposals are due at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 31, 2007.
Every Voice in Action will hold two Pre-proposal Information Sessions, during which foundation staff will discuss the focus of the grant round in depth and highlight important aspects of the RFP. The sessions are scheduled for:
Tuesday, May 8 and Monday, May 14
4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
at Every Voice in Action Foundation
(2851 N. Country Club Road, just north of Glenn).
Please R.S.V.P. (615-2100) if you plan to attend one of these Information Sessions. Although these sessions are not mandatory, Every Voice in Action strongly encourages all potential applicants to attend. If a representative from your organization will not be able to attend either session, please call Ed or Lauren to make alternate arrangements.
