Youth Crew 2008 Grants Awarded!

We're Recruiting for Youth Crew 2008-2009!

Every Voice in Action is looking for 10 high school and college-aged students to join our 2008/2009 Youth Crew.  The Youth Crew, now in its 9th year, is an afterschool program through which young people decide how to distribute $50,000 in grant money to local nonprofits and schools.  New this year, Crew members will also design and implement social activism projects and share their unique perspectives on a variety of topics with community leaders.  Crew members meet every Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm during the school year and attend two weekend retreats (in late September and early January).
