School Film Screenings
Films will be shown in middle and high schools during class hours in cooperation with interested history and language arts teachers. The films will portray young people having a significant impact on their community through extraordinary acts of philanthropy, activism, and service. Different films will be shown at different schools, ranging from a brief documentary of a youth activism project to a documentary on student walkouts in Birmingham, Alabama in the 1960s.
The films will be followed by reflective art and a discussion designed to inpire the young viewers to make a difference in their own community.
Youth facilitators and Every Voice in Action staff will attend and facilitate each screening.

Youth Voice film will also play an important role at the Youth Voice Art & Media Showcase on Thursday, April 24, 2008. This energetic event is free and open to the public.
